Glad you found out, but this is not new. Ever since the beginning of the Google News service, or at least since they started offering RSS/Atom feeds of news search results, I subscribed to the feeds of a search for the term "Cuba", and I continually get results from Prensa Latina, Granma as well as from "El Nuevo Herald" and such.

I get results both from English and Spanish version of Cuban media, and I have to confess that I have got to know Cuban newspapers that I didn't previously know they existed.

And I should also say that Google News recently started a .cu version of the site, which filters and shows news mostly related with Cuba or even international news preferably from Cuban and Cuban-American media. The full address is http://news.google.com.cu/ just as there are versions for Chile, Canada English, Canada French and several other countries and regions (China, Israel, Portugal, Peru, etc). You can see all the available regional versions at the bottom of the homepage of Google News.
