This is my - Steven Mansour’s - travel log when in Cuba. I started this blog when I visited Havana in the Fall of 2005 to work with various medical and educational groups for approximately one week, and then I toured the entire island by bicycle for approximately six weeks. I had been to Cuba before and I will continue to visit as much as I can, because I love the country and its people.
All entries on this blog with a province name as a category (such as “Matanzas”) were posted directly from Cuba.
I try to update as frequently as possible, but don’t, you know, hold your breath or anything, especially when I’m actually in Cuba. Internet access for tourists is expensive and slow.
For reasons that should be obvious, comments are turned off on most posts when I’m in Cuba. Generally, comments are enabled when I’m able to moderate them, however.
